Hey, I’m John, creator, owner and lead photographer of Dodge Creative. Every morning I get to wake up and do what I love. I’m married to the love of my life. I’m the father of two bright and warm girls and we’ve got a house full of two cats and a dog. I’ve had the incredible pleasure to make photography my life’s work.

It all started in 2008 when a friend asked me to shoot her wedding. I thought she was out of her mind! I was a Graphic Designer at the time with a photography lifestyle. I always needed images to work with in Photoshop and enjoyed taking my own. I grew up with a Kodak 110 camera in my hand so it only made sense that this is what I was meant to do. I discovered what it was like to work for clients all over the country and as my photography business grew, I left the Graphic Design world and have been a full-time Photographer since 2010. 

I’m inspired by the outdoors, I love being there, getting dirty and exploring. I love laughter, hanging out, adventure and chocolate milk. I love quiet places, but I'm a rough and tumble kinda guy. I like sunrises and sunsets, but I'll walk over a mountain to get there. My favorite food is probably Chipotle. I love to laugh, don't take myself too seriously and really care about you!
